The NDIIF will host the 6th Annual Midwest Imaging and Microanalysis Workshop on May 6, 2019 in rooms 100-104 of McKenna Conference Center here at Notre Dame.  Participation in this workshop is FREE but registration is required and can be completed HERE.  Lectures will be held by leading experts in electron microscopy companies, Midwest Universities, as well as International Universities and Institutes.  The topics will include new trends in in-situ and high resolution microscopy for nano-technology, materials, and bio-sciences.  A reception with light refreshments will be held during the poster session from 4-6 PM to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the NDIIF and highlight research accomplishments throughout the past decade.  Please join us in this celebration!

We encourage students to participate in a poster session during the workshop to recognize various research achievements in the fields of microscopy ranging from electron microscopy to optical or light microscopy.  There will be cash prizes for three of the best poster submissions.  Please submit the title of your poster along with a brief abstract to  MWIM Workshop- Registration Form.   

 Winners of “The Best Imaging Publication of 2018” will be recognized along with poster presentation winners near the conclusion of the workshop.  For more information regarding the Best Imaging Publication Award and the Imaging workshop visit imaging.nd.edu. The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 12.
