"Neurosurgical challenges in hydrocephalus, from Africa to South Bend" presented by Daniel H. Fulkerson, M.D., ND '94

Dr. Fulkerson specializes in both adult and pediatric neurosurgery. After medical school, he served in the United States Air Force as a general medical officer stationed in Misawa, Japan. He performed his neurosurgical residency training at Indiana University and completed a post-graduate fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Texas Children’s Hospital with the Baylor College of Medicine. He returned to Indiana to join the teaching faculty at Riley Hospital for Children and attained the rank of Associate Professor.

Dr. Fulkerson returned to South Bend in 2018 to establish a pediatric neurosurgical service at Beacon Children's Hospital.
