The O’Brien Family Endowment for Excellence Fellowship supports efforts to develop biomedical tools and techniques that provide new capabilities to combat a wide range of illnesses and diseases. One $6,000 fellowship will be awarded.

Selection Criteria

In awarding the fellowships, preference will be given to graduate students whose research is in the area of Parkinson’s disease. The fellowship is not limited to that disease area, but any application received that does address Parkinson’s disease will merit extra consideration. Eligible students must be enrolled in the University for both the spring semester before the fellowship period and fall semester after it.

Application Process

The online application, includes a brief statement for proposed summer research, a personal statement, a recommendation letter from the student’s advisor, and the student’s CV.

The 2021 AD&T Summer Graduate Fellowship Application is now closed. Please check back in March 2022 for our next round of funding
